My wife and I did not grow up in Greene county, or even within an hour drive. We have always felt welcome at CCC. Even from our first day as visitors. Early on, we were actually stopped after service regularly just to visit. Some of the congregation were local as you would expect but many were transplants themselves. It's a great place to call a church home or even just drop in for a visit if you are passing through.
If you weren't born and raised in the area then you will not feel welcome.
